Although Wyatt seems to be sprouting teeth left and right and has some excessive drool, I think I can rule out teething as a source of his fever and runny nose. He's got a little virus. Alexi and I are splitting up our days so we can each get some work in and luckily we both have the ability to work remotely. I hope Wyatt gets better soon. It makes me sad when he is sick. My parents leave for New Zealand and Australia for a month long holiday today. I wish they were taking us with them.

Gotta Go Mitts - plastic mittens for kids to wear when using the bathroom in a public place so their hands won't get germy.

Last night we had one overtired and crazy kid. Wyatt was all strung out on jello and juice; we NEVER give him any sugar and I think that put him over the edge, in addition to no nap. He did not want to go to bed and fought us to sleep. He is going on a no sugar diet stat.

Friday night I came down with a retched stomach bug. Luckily it did not come on while I was home alone with Wyatt. It waited until Wyatt was asleep and Lex got home from seeing Avatar with Adam. I won't go into the gory details. Therefore Saturday, was a low-key day. Thank goodness for my parents. They took Wyatt from 10:30 - 4:30 as Lexi got the bug after me. We spent the day sleeping and eating saltines. Today we rebounded with our first trip to the Museum of Flight. We were all impressed with the variety of planes and the museum as a whole. Wyatt is still a bit young for the museum, even for the kids area, but it was fun knowing that one day he will dig it!

Each and every night we run our warm air vaporizer in Wyatt's room while he is sleeping. He has remained fairly healthy despite being a day-care kid.
